Student Filmmaker—Zachary Hayes
Hello and thank you for visiting my website. I'm Zachary Hayes, a student filmmaker working his way through college and hopefully towards a successful future. If you don't know much about me already, try reading my brief résumé.
This site is a portfolio of myself—for networking with other filmmakers (professional and student), and to show off my many projects. For a reel of my work, go to my Vimeo profile. There you will find my best films. My main interests are in the production department; however, I have a range of growing talents—special effects, editing, screenwriting, lighting, chroma keying, camera operating, directing, etc. I go more indepth with my abilities in my résumé, or again, you could just browse my reel. Now let's be realistic, you're probably not here in search of a 22 year old 1st AD. My main goal right now is to gain the experience I need on set as a Production Assistant so I can begin to work my way up the ladder. I have experience as a Key PA and PA on professional independent films.

Notice something different? That's right! This site has been slightly modified. It's all part of making ZacharyHayes.com a more "professional" portfolio. What does this mean? No more 'Hysteria Syndrome' comic? Not necessarily. The comics are still there, but there probably won't be any more seasons. Just a few new comics here and there. The biggest difference is that there will no longer be News. There's just no reason for it. The page is still there so you can view old news, but it won't be updated. Also, the Videos link now goes to my Vimeo. Vimeo is like a classy version of YouTube. Again, the old Videos page is still there but there is no reason for it. The About page is now called Bio and Media is now Other Media.
